Thirty-eight locations across Brussels will welcome students eager not to cram for their exams alone. The 38 include a number of exceptional locations including the stock exchange building, the Ancienne Belgique (AB) concert hall and the Gare Maritime at Tour&Taxis.
38 spots for students to cram together during the Christmas holidays
It’s cramming time for Belgian students and studying with friends or your peers is becoming increasingly popular. Brussels student organisation Brik has now secured the co-operation of 38 locations across the Belgian and Flemish capital that will be open for students eager to study in company.
Brik was eager to find locations that are not routinely visited by students. Cinema Palace is taking part and the AB is opening one of their smaller club rooms. “The cramming period is a crazy time for students, but studying in a unique setting can be quite an experience” says Tessa Derden. “It’s makes cramming bearable. It’s also great that students are able to discover the city in this way. We like them to leave their student digs instead of sticking indoors for weeks”.
Some students are eager to study also on Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve. That shouldn’t be a problem because for the first time Brik will open two large venues that can each accommodate 150 students on New Year’s Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
