The price of petrol will fall again from midnight tonight (Friday 17 November). From then those filling up their tanks with petrol 95 (E10) will pay no more than 1.715 euro/litre. This is the lowest maximum price E10 petrol since the end of December 2022 and is a fall of 4.5 cent on the current maximum price.

Meanwhile, the maximum price for a litre of petrol 98 (E5) will fall to 1.919 euro/litre, a fall of 6 cent/litre. The maximum price for a litre of diesel is set to fall too.
Those waiting until tomorrow morning to fill up will pay no more than 1.8530 euro/litre. This is down 3.3 cent on the current maximum price and is the lowest maximum price since the end of June.
