The Westhoek Fire Service received a call to deal with an incident in Zonnebeke at around 10am on Monday. "A tractor with a trailer crashed into a house. This completely wrecked the two-story house” the Fire Service’s Luc Lewyllie told VRT News.

At the time of the accident the couple that lives there was at home. The lady of the house was sat down at a table in the living room near to an armchair that was mowed away by the tractor. “It is a small miracle that no one was injured,” Mr. Lewyllie said.

The police have sealed off the house. The Fire Service will take the tractor away and the prop up the house to prevent it from collapsing.
