Princess Astrid, King Filip’s sister, is heading a major trade mission to the Commonwealth of Australia. Together with Belgian federal and regional leaders she met with Australia’s Governor-General David Hurley, King Charles’s representative in Australia. The princess also visited a new metro station that is being built by the Belgian Besix construction group. In all, 300 officials, businesspeople and academics have travelled to Austria to strengthen ties with this land of opportunity.
