The proprietor of a skate shop in Mechelen (Antwerp) has been arrested on suspicion of illegal sexual behaviour involving minors. The man in his thirties is a foot fetishist and had urged teenage boys to send him photos of their naked feet claiming the photos would help him to select the right skate shoes for them.

The shopkeeper asked several underage teenage boys to send him photos of their naked feet. Antwerp prosecutors speak of a handful of boys aged 16 and 17. The storekeeper also stands accused of touching up the boys. The suspect is under house arrest and obliged to wear a tag while the investigation continues. The skate shop remains closed at least for the time being.
