There are delays to Antwerp-bound traffic on the E313 motorway this Saturday morning. A lorry carrying liquid compost has spilled some of its load leaving a kilometres-long trail along the westbound carriageway of the road.
Initially the spillage made it impossible for traffic on the E313 to join the northbound Antwerp Orbital Motorway. Although this particular issue has since been partially resolved there are still considerable delays for those travelling to Antwerp (and beyond) from the southeast.
There are big delays to traffic in and around Antwerp this morning after a lorry carrying liquid fertilizer shed some of its load at the Antwerp East intersection between the E313 and the Antwerp Orbital Motorway. The Fire Service and the Civil Protection Agency have gone to the scene to remove the fertilizer from the road surface. However, give the length of the spillage this is likely to take several hours.
