This year’s Christmas tree arrived on Brussels historic market square this morning. The tree, a Nordmann, is over 40 years old and was felled in Liege Province. It stands 18 metres high. The weather for erecting the tree - that weighs around 6 tons - wasn’t perfect this morning. 600 baubles will now embellish the tree as well as a string of lights measuring two kilometres.
